Places to visit in Mandav:
Jahaz mahal
Jahaz mahal is the most beautiful palace to visit in mandav. The name Jahaz mahal is because of the rainfall that fills the lake surrounding the jahaz mahal with water making it look like a ship floating in the sea. Built by Sultan Ghiyas-ud-din-khilji, it was one of his harem ( place where all begum (queen) lived together). The best time to visit here is after rainfall. You can see so many fountains as a well arranged water system of that time. For entry you have to buy ticket at the gate at minimum charges.

Rani Roopmati Palace
One of beautiful palace in Mandav. It was the place where the soldiers of the king used to live and also the place where rani Roopmati used to come in morning to behold the beauty of narmada river which just looked like a silver strip or ribbon on the green carpet from this place. One of the attraction of mandav is that you can see beauty of Mandav from this palace. Two tomb like structure and a big hall like building is the great combination of Mughal and Indian architecture. As it is on the height, you can enjoy the top view of the Mandav from this palace. To watch the narmada river as silver strip the best time is rainy season when the river is full of water. In winter the fog and in summer less water in river will make river invisible from here.

Echo Point
When you move from Zahaj mahal towards Rani Roopmati palace in between there is Echo point. As the name of the place echo point you can guess that here the sound will get echo again and again. There is a stone placed at the side of the road. If you'll stand on it and say any thing louder it will repeat for two to three times. This is because the sound strikes the tomb like buildings in just front of the echo point and gets bounced back to us from different angles. Must do to have an echo experience.
Jama Masjid
Jama masjid is one of the mosque build in Mandav by the mughals. Its construction started at the time of Hosang Shah and completed during Mohamad Khilji’s rule. The architecture is full of mughal style the tomb like big structure. And in the mosque there is the Hosang Shah’s tomb fully made of white marvel stone surrounded by the great stone art done of that time.

Hindola mahal
Hindola mahal is just near the Zahaj mahal. And it is named Hindola because of its structure which look like it is shacking or non stable. Hindola means non stable. You can take group pictures here and enjoy the great architecture done at that time.
